A customer had a request for two matching Steelhead rods for his two young nieces. He wanted quality rods for them to learn on and grow into as they progress to becoming his Steelhead fishing partners. He wanted a bright pink theme, and it was agreed that metallic purple complimented that color well.

A customer contacted me to say that her 20 yr old custom rod gave up the ghost. She was interested in getting another one built. She brought the rod to the shop and said she really liked her old one and wanted to keep as much the same as possible. She was into a bit of modernization as far as the components go, and with that, I went to building. She was very pleased with the results and this rod is in use already!

Completed and delivered, another rod that is a one of a kind. My good friend George Freitas said his daughter told him all she wanted for her birthday was her own salmon rod. We threw around some ideas, and I went to work. As always, photos do not do these rods justice. The holographic theme came out amazing. The colors work off of each other very well and this rod changes colors each time the angle is changed. Once again my wife Jennifer Lynne-Strenk came through and helped out with the color coordination for the marbling job!! Enjoy your new rod Krista, you have a very special Dad.
